We'll be at the hall setting up in the morning, with doors opening at 1:00PM. You're welcome to drop in and out at anytime after then!
Absolutely not. Wear whatever you feel comfortable or snazzy in. If you're dancing, make sure you have flat shoes and preferably something swishy.
There are a small amount of spaces in the hall car park, with roadside parking available on Sabin Drive.
Do not worry, we'll be providing lots of activities and things to do for the little (and not-so-little) ones. There is also, weather permitting, a huge playing field and play equipment accessible directly from the hall.
What a lovely and kind thought, but absolutely, 100% no. We have everything we could possibly need and isn't the real gift the friends we made along the way?
Anything you’d like to share! Savoury dishes, salads, desserts, chips and dips—homemade or shop-bought, it’s all welcome. Bring enough for you and a couple of extra helpings and we'll have a feast! There will be labels and pens provided if you need to use them.
The hall has no oven or microwave so we can't cook anything there. #Sorrynotsorry.
To make the trip more worth your while we're planning to get together on Sunday 1st June for breakfast and a leisurely stroll. Everyone is of course welcome, even if you're local. Please let Chris know when you RVSP and he'll fill you in on the deets.
Don't be. There will be people of all ages and dancing abilities and we can all look silly together. A caller will take us all through the steps to each dance before we try it out for real!
Goodness gracious no. Ceilidhs are meant to be social events so you'll be dancing with multiple people, sometimes even in the same dance!
It can be! Some dances are quite lively, but there will be breaks, and you can sit out if you need to whenever you like. You definitely won't go upside-down.
